Amilmitt

As the title states i will be spending the entirety of my weekend creating my outdoor warfare map in UT3.
my grey block was only partially done, so i have alot of work ahead of me.

i also have to go ahead and finish my Mats and Texture character before week 11.
had character modeling late last night, creating the back of the head and modeling the back.
I have to go ahead and start making the green arrow as my character.

Lucky for me my animation homework is easily finished in class and life drawing just requires me to put together a small portfolio of the work i did in class.

This quarter around i'm going to try to put an effort into finishing all my projects so that i may upload them, as it stands now most of my school projects have be done into final projects.

Another little addition. my 5 year old HP pavilion laptop has finally kicked the bucket, running the thing hot for the past 6 months and the graphics card caved. leaving my stranded without a device.
Lucky my dad found a great deal on a new one so i went back home and picked it up. now i'm running quieter and cooler(also faster).
Lesson: running a laptop non stop for five years puts quite the heat strain on the hardware.
Also the last 6 months the thing was running far to hot, but with work between Maya and the UT3 editor it got no breaks.

But i have to say it did pretty well for such and old thing, all in all im surprised it lasted me so long.
Also my new computer is its successor, its also an HP pavilion. but this time with an AMD processor and ATI graphics card.

well i got 3 more weeks to go.
its going to be a killer.

first thing. need to rework my payment plan as the school seems to want to drive me into the ground, gotta stretch the payments out so i dont pay so much so soon.

second thing. gotta get a job real soon, if i get a job even for 1 day a week my parents will start helping me out with money. As they think that if i dont try to help myself they wont help me.

third and final thing. i have a project for design and colour theory due friday thats is more work intensive than the final project.

some more ranting, im switching rooms at the end of the quarter, current roomates are to gawd damn much a mess, just brain dead in terms of cleaning up after themselves. im in the rooms im moving into way more than mmy own right now so its a good choice..
well hopefully i can kick myself into high gear and rock this place for the next 3 weeks.
i know i can do it just need to go for a run soon to get a restart.

well here i try to start weekly journals of whats up.

first an update on where I'm at now.
I moved out of my hometown of nanaimo and over the water to Vancouver, to attend the Art Institute of Vancouver.
I took the summer start, so straight out of high school and into college, no breaks for me.
this is my first quarter, week 05.

so today i finished one of my mid-terms for Digital Imaging.
got my image done but didn't quite get all the meta data for the PDF finalized, hopefully my teacher doesn't mark hard in that area.
had a evening 3D basic concepts class right after DI, was actually a pretty relaxing class, a bit of chatting while grinding through getting some of my interior room done.

have to finish off some homework for this week, and then some sleep and Drawing & Perspective tomorrow(or actually today because its past 12)
then try and burn through my design & colour theory mid-Term and then draw some hands and feet for Life Drawing.

Planning as-well to dedicate Saturdays to homework, starting this Saturday so that  get a routine going before the courses get more work intensive.

as a send off, I'd like to point out that my account will start to be more active with updates of my work(and hopefully some scan ins to)
